MIAMI – (May 6, 2020) The nonprofit organization, Lawyers to the Rescue is pleased to announce a partnership with Nicklaus Children’s Hospital to bring smiles to their patients’ stay. The generous donation will include PlayStation gaming consoles, replacement controllers, and a variety of over twenty games.

One of Lawyers to the Rescue’s current members remembers just how much joy it brought to have a video game console wheeled into his hospital room, after he suffered a traumatic brain injury as a child. Today, John Hoover and Lawyers to the Rescue is paying it forward.

“We are especially grateful for the opportunity to partner with such a wonderful organization,” said Spencer Aronfeld, founder of Lawyers to the Rescue. Through this partnership with Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, we will be able to provide pediatric patients with technology, equipment, and software to help cope with long-term treatment, and hopefully help make their stay a little easier.”

We would especially like to thank Dr. Luxme Hariharan of Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists, Sajani Desai Granquist and the University of Miami School of Law’s Career Development Office, Marni Lennon and the HOPE Public Interest Office, and last but definitely not least, Hermann Hospital and the Children’s Miracle Network.
